Thanksgiving: Key to Abundance

This is the time of year when we look forward to turkey and family gatherings. I wanted to take a few minutes to encourage you that the key to abundance lies in making gratitude a daily part of your life.Child Smiling

Thanksgiving helps us focus on what we have!

In a world with Ebay, Amazon and online shopping, we can get lost in all the things we want to have. Especially when we are trying to achieve so much. It seems we never have enough. This is the time of year we can move our focus from what we don’t have to what we do have. Abundance is found in what we already have. The difficulties we experience can distract us from seeing thg good that is there. Even tragedies have seeds of good in them. Napoleon Hill says, “In every adversity is the seed of equal or greater benefit.” Even your troubles have a benefit, if you will shift your focus and look for the good.

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
― Eckhart Tolle

Thanksgiving generates greater energy!

If you are given to worry, then gratitude is a great way to break that habit. Worry is an energy draining mindset. It is confidence that bad things will happen. By focusing on your thoughts on the good in your life, you will find that you are happier and have more excitement about what is in your life already. Worry can’t live in the same mind that sees possibility. If you break the mindset

“When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”
― Anthony Robbins

Thanksgiving opens the door for more!

Focusing on what you have is a form of meditation. It opens your mind to greater possibilities and expands your awareness to new opportunities. I believe that when you are thankful, you open a connection to God, the source of all goodness, which creates a greater receptiveness to receiving. When we focus on what we have, we open ourselves to receiving in ways that are more beneficial for us. By being thankful, you can experience more of the goodness in your life and greater abundance and joy!

“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
